Strategic Plan

The Township of Woolwich has begun the process of drafting a new Strategic Plan for the current term of Council. The Township Strategic Plan communicates the priorities and objectives of the municipality, as well as the vision and mission of the Township Council.

The current Strategic Plan is focused through six key strategic areas; growth management, infrastructure renewal, healthy communities, human resources, customer services and best managed practices. The future of the Township as a progressive and forward thinking community and corporation is defined, pursued and managed using the strategic plan as the guiding document.

Several focus groups sessions were held throughout the Township to engage the community. Feedback was recorded and is provided below including an initial brainstorming session with members of Council of Senior Management staff.
