Bolender Park
Stream Bank Stabilization Project
Information Meeting
Thursday March 11, 7 pm
24 Church St. W. Elmira

Neighbours and friends of Bolender Park are invited to a meeting to talk about a plan that has been drafted to help stabilize the east bank of the Canagagigue Creek in Bolender Park.  In the early 1990s, the bank was stabilized by the Clean Waterways Group using Christmas Trees.  After 15 years, the trees have disappeared and it is time to look to another solution. You are invited to come and learn more about this new project and how you can help solve the erosion problem.

Partners (to date) include: The Clean Waterways Group, the Township of Woolwich Environmental Enhancement Committee (TWEEC), The Waterloo Stewardship Network, Grand River Conservation Authority, a local paving and excavation company, and the Township of Woolwich.

For more information please contact Ann at 519 669-6027 or click here to send an email.
