Spring on the Trail (SOTT) 2013

It's back! The annual Spring on the Trail fundraising event is just around the corner. Come May 11, 2013, there will be activities to do all along the Kissing Bridge Trailway along with prizes to be won! Participate, Hike, Run or Walk! the best multi-use trail in Ontario. The 2nd Annual Home and Garden Show was a great success with more than 85 booths showcasing local and regional businesses and organizations. 1,700 people attended this 3-day event and plans are already underway for a bigger and better show in 2014.

Canada Day Celebrations - July 1, 2013

Watch for further details for the 2014 celebration. Over 400 people enjoyed a beautiful day of warm weather and celebrated Canada's 145th Birthday at Gore Park in Elmira!

Over 1500 people joined us and enjoyed a fun-filled day of FREE skating, swimming and activities for the entire family at the Woolwich Memorial Centre (WMC) on Monday, February 18^th. Thank you to our sponsors- Woolwich Community Lions, Pumps Plus, Your Neighbourhood Credit Union and Baden Coffee for providing a special day for the community by sponsoring skates & swims, providing free product and joining in the activities.

Elmira Maple Syrup Festival

The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival is an annual event. One goal of the festival is to build and strengthen community spirit through the involvement of a large number of volunteers. Over 2000 volunteers make sure that this event is a success every year.

Continuing a tradition of over 45 years, the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival continues to promote the community, surrounding area and local maple syrup producers. The Festival raises money every year to donate to Elmira and District Association for Community Living and other community non-profit organizations. Annual Indoor Garage Sale (WMC)

Once again our 26^th annual Indoor Garage Sale held at the Woolwich Memorial Centre was a great success despite the state of emergency caused by the ice storm. As in the past years it was well attended with all booths sold out.

The 27^th Annual Indoor Garage Sale will again take place in our Woolwich Memorial Centre. This modern facility is home to 2 ice pads, fitness centre, aquatic centre, youth & senior centres, Community Centre and meeting rooms. There is room for over 32 vendors on the McLeod Ice Pad and the sale is open to individuals and businesses. People are able to shop in the warm, dry comfort of this accessible building. Our concession booth on site serves delicious Baden Coffee, bagels, grilled cheese sandwiches as well as regular concession fare.

ATM is available on site.

Booth size is 16 ' X 16 ' (NEW SIZE) $ 39 + HST ( 2 chairs provided)= $44.07
Double Booth 32 ' X 16 ' $65 + HST = $73.45
Tables are available for $10.00 + HST = $11.30
