American Sign Language Interpreter Services
The Township of Woolwich now has a policy where American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter services will be booked for public meetings where issues of Township-wide interest are to be discussed. Newspaper notices for future public meetings will include a statement offering the ASL service along with a deadline to contact the Township to confirm a need for the service. If the Township is not notified of the need for an ASL Interpreter at least 10 days before the public meeting, the ASL Interpreter service will be cancelled. This policy was developed as an initiative of the Township of Woolwich Accessibility Plan. Click here to submit a question about our policy of booking ASL Interpreter services.
