Cemeteries
The Township of Woolwich currently administers and operates two cemeteries - Elmira Union Cemetery on Church Street West, Elmira and St. Teresa's Cemetery on Arthur Street North, north of Elmira. as final resting place of full burials or cremation burials.
As well, the Township maintains four inactive cemeteries - Bristow Pioneer, Sand Hills, Hoffer and Winterbourne. In total, there are twenty-nine cemeteries around the Township.
Visitors are always welcomed at the Cemetery during the open hours from eight a.m. to sundown.
