 June is Recreation & Parks Month

June is Recreation and Park Month (JRPM) is a movement that promotes the benefits of recreation and parks for physical, social, and environmental health. Communities across Ontario have embraced JRPM as a way to promote local programs and events, parks and facilities that are available for all citizens to enjoy.

The Magnificent Caravana Extravaganza- Experience the Travelling Kids' Stage 

Breslau Community Centre Park (100 Andover Drive, Breslau)

10am-1:30pm 

Schedule: 

10-11am (Ages 2-5): Zumbini 

11-11:30am (Ages 5-12): Puppet Show "Pin and Jab and the Monster That Really, Truly, (Maybe) Does Exsist"

11:45am-12:45pm (Ages 5-12): Workshop "Build your own Mini Shadow Puppet Theatre"

12:30-1:30pm (Ages young teens): Learn to DJ with DJ Jazzy

 National Girls & Women in Sport Day 

The National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) is an annual day of observance held during the first week of February to acknowledge the accomplishments of female athletes, recognize the influence of sports participation for women and girls, and honor the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports. The Township of Woolwich hosts an annual event to educate and celebrate female athletes.
