Water and Wastewater Operator 1 or 2 |
Infrastructure Services is seeking one (1) Water and Wastewater Operator, Class 1 or 2. The successful candidate will work as a team and be responsible to perform a wide variety of maintenance and operational activities on the Township’s various water distribution and wastewater collection systems including, but not be limited to, water sampling, infrastructure inspections, water meter installation, reading and repair, maintenance and repair of water and sewer infrastructure, sewage lift station maintenance and the collection and recording of operational data. Volunteer Firefighter |
The rewards of being a volunteer firefighter are extensive. The work is exciting and challenging. Responsibilities include; fire suppression duties necessary to save life and property; combat, extinguish and/or prevent fires by rapidly and efficiently performing varied duties as required under emergency conditions; provide emergency medical response and aid; perform rescue/extrication operations where necessary to prevent loss of life or further injury; and provide service assistance with respect to the police, paramedics and the public.
