Road Closure on Arthur Street South in Elmira Following Collision

Elmira, ON – Arthur Street South in Elmira is currently closed between Howard Avenue and Oriole Parkway following a collision involving a garbage truck.

Police say the truck struck a hydro pole, causing live wires to fall across the roadway. Emergency crews are on scene, and the closure will remain in effect while the area is made safe.

No physical injuries have been reported at this time.
