The Township of Woolwich has approved the 2026 Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) allocation of funding, investing in local tourism initiatives that support economic development, enhance visitor experiences, and strengthen the Township’s position as a year-round destination.

Township of Woolwich Council has adopted the 2026 Water and Wastewater Budget, reinforcing the Township’s commitment to long-term financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and the continued delivery of safe, reliable water and wastewater services.

Today, Enbridge Gas Ontario (Enbridge Gas) and the Woolwich Fire Department announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

The Township of Woolwich has extended the Snow Event – Parking Ban until Friday, January 23 at 11:59 p.m.

Woolwich Council has adopted the 2026 Township budget, focused on strengthening long-term financial sustainability, addressing infrastructure and reserve pressures, and maintaining essential municipal services. 

The Township of Woolwich has declared a Snow Event – Parking Ban beginning Wednesday, January 21^st at 11:59 p.m. The ban will remain in effect for 24 hours, unless extended or cancelled.

A Significant Weather Event is in effect for the Township of Woolwich and will remain in effect until notice of cancellation has been issued.

With improving weather conditions and ongoing plowing operations, the Township of Woolwich has officially ended their Significant Weather Event, effective immediately as of Friday, January 2, 2026.
