For camper safety, adults MUST show photo ID during camp pick up. Campers 9 years and under must be picked up by an adult that is identified in advance. Only those adults listed during registration will be permitted to pick up your child(ren). Campers 10 years or older may leave by themselves if this has been indicated during registration. Please notify us if your child will not be attending camp, or of any change in your child's pick up routine by calling 519-514-7000.
A typical camp day runs from 9 am - 4 pm, and includes games, crafts, indoor and outdoor play. Our weekly themes help guide planning of our activities, games, crafts, outings and special guests. The camp day will also include non-theme portions.

Field trips will be limited to destinations such as parks, there will be limited offsite trips that require the use of vehicle transportation. This location swims 3-4x a week at the WMC pool. Options available if wanting to opt out from participating. |

Campers will be travelling offsite through the use of vehicle transportation once a week to swim at the Woolwich Memorial Centre pool. Options available if wanting to opt out from participating. |
For safety of those with life-threatening allergies, our camps are a "nut aware" environment. We ask that all families avoid sending peanut or nut products to camp. Please send energizing snacks including fruits and vegetables. Campers are asked to bring a water bottle to camp.
Campers should come ready for fun! Sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are required. Please send clothes that are comfortable to move in, and that can get messy. The Township of Woolwich is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Camp Refund Policy
We can provide a refund for the full camp cost up to 3 weeks prior to the camp week. After the 3 weeks, no refund will be issued unless it is medical related.
Please note: If you completed enrollment online, the processing fee amount is non-refundable.
2026 Summer Camp Dates and Themes
Participants in our Kids Camp are 5 - 12 years old. 4 year olds can register if they are turning 5 before December 31st, and are fully toilet trained. Camp leaders will take age and developmental differences into account when creating groups and programming activities.

Young explorers will journey through the wonders of outer space, from distant galaxies to mysterious planets waiting to be uncovered. Each day brings a new surprise as campers revisit their favorite moments, try popular activities again and enjoy a joyful mix of creativity, adventure, and classic summer fun. (5 Days)

The Big Splash is our grand finale to summer. An action-packed week filled with sunshine, water fun, and unforgettable memories. Campers will enjoy extra time outdoors playing water games and heading to the splash pad for event more water excitement. It's a joyful, high energy celebration designed to soak up every last moment of summer as we wrap up the season in style. (5 Days)
Youth Adventure Camp (Ages 8-12)

This week focuses on movement, teamwork, and discovering how fun staying active can be. Campers will try a variety of sports, enjoy friendly competitions, and tackle team challenges that build cooperation and resilience. With plenty of sprinting, strategizing, and cheering each other on, they'll stay energized and proud of what they can achieve. (4 Days)

Camp becomes a globe-trotting adventure as campers team up to solve clues, complete challenges, and race from station to station in a face-paced competition. They'll build communication skills, practice leadership, and experience the excitement of teamwork while navigating obstacle courses, decoding riddles, and tackling surprise twists. It's a lively, laughter-filled week where every camper gets a chance to shine and every team celebrates together. (5 Days)

Myth Busters Week invites campers to test popular myths and mysteries through hand-on experiments and creative challenges. Each day, they investigate surprising claims, make predictions, and use real scientific thinking to uncover the truth. Grab your aprons and chef hats- it's time to cook up something amazing! This week, campers step into the kitchen to whip up delicious recipes and try their hand at both sweet and savory creations. With a menu full of tasty treats and fun food adventure, everyone will get a chance to mix, bake, taste, and enjoy their culinary masterpieces. (5 Days)

This high-energy week celebrates all things active, giving campers the chance to try a variety of sports, games, and movement-based challenges. Build skills, enjoy friendly competitions, and highlight teamwork and sportsmanship along the way. It's the perfect week for campers who love to move or are ready to discover new favourite sport. (4 Days)

Campers will take part in pool sessions and related dry-land activities that build swimming ability, fitness, teamwork, and lifesaving skills. Throughout the week, they'll work toward earning their Bronze Star through 10 hours of pool time focused on problem-solving and decision-making, providing excellent preparation for Bronze Medallion. The program also includes Basic First Aid training with 4 hours of classroom instruction. Note: Campers must be able to swim 50 meters and tread water for 1 minute. (4 Days)

Where Art Meets Science (STEAM) Week blends creativity and experimentation as campers explore projects that combine art, science, and engineering. Through hands-on building, testing, and creating, campers discover how imagination and innovation work together in fun, exciting ways. (5 days)
We strive to integrate all campers into our summer camp programs. To help us best support your camper’s experience at camp, we ask that any additional needs be disclosed during registration. A staff member will be in touch to discuss how we can best integrate your camper into our group programming. Please note that we are unable to provide one to one support for campers with additional needs. However, we welcome volunteers or support workers provided by the family in this capacity. Volunteers or support workers must be 16 years or older.
Please ensure camper medical information is updated during registration, including an emergency contact. Should a camper require medication while at camp, please inform the Camp Coordinator and complete the Medical Administration Form. All medications brought to camp must be in their original container. All medications will be stored in the Coordinator's office, with the exception of EpiPens and inhalers, which are carried by the camper in a waist pouch.
In the event of a medical emergency, camp staff, Township staff and/or lifeguards will provide immediate medical treatment, including follow up with EMS if necessary. Parents will be notified in the event of a medical emergency.
We strive to ensure all campers have a great, safe and fun experience at camp. We have fun, play fair, and show respect for ourselves and others. This includes:
Respect yourself: Come to camp with a positive attitude and participate so you can have the best experience!
Respect others: Stay out of other's personal space, speak nicely & positively to others, listen to your leaders, and follow safety guidelines.
Respect property and the facility: Touch only what belongs to you, stay within the activity area, and clean up after yourself.
Physical aggression and bullying behaviour may require temporary or full suspension from camp.
Each week revolves around a different theme that guides the activities, trips and special guest, and the camp day also includes some non-themed portions. Regardless of the theme, the overall structure of the program remains the same, including sign-in, sign-out, snack, lunch and water activities. Campers will be asked to participate in all activities, unless written or verbal permission from a parent or guardian, to a leader or Coordinators, has been given for special circumstances.
Ages 13-16 years
Summer Camp Leader in Training Program
Do you want to be a Summer Camp Leader? This program focuses on leadership styles, goal setting, teamwork skills, game/ activity planning, identifying bullying and prevention strategies and offers tips for working with children and leading activities in our Summer Day Camp Programs. Includes LSS SafeGuard and Anaphylaxis Rescuer certifications.
After completing this program, there is an expectation that participants will volunteer at least 3 weeks with the Township Woolwich Kids Camp.

Camp Team Information
Our amazing camp staff have been hired based on their experience, creativity and enthusiasm working with children. They are certified in Standard First Aid & CPR-C, High Five*, and Lifesaving Society SafeGuard, and complete in depth, onsite training. Our Summer Camp Leaders are supported by on-site Summer Camp Coordinators, and are complimented by our volunteer Leaders in Training.
Our camp operates with a maximum ratio of 1 leader for every 10 campers.
*High Five is Canada's only comprehensive quality standard for children's sport and recreation, an evidence-based approach to healthy child development.
