Canada Post Strike - September 2025

Canada Post has announced a national strike, effective September 26, 2025.
All incoming and outgoing mail delivery will be impacted.

Property Taxes
The second installment of the 2025 final tax bills are due October 3, 2025.

Water Billing
Regular water billing for monthly and for Elmira customers will be processed as usual with a due date of October 23, 2025. Customers who receive their bill by mail can call or attend the office the first week of October to inquiry about the amount due. Pre-authorized payments will be withdrawn on October 23, 2025.

Payments
Residents are encouraged to sign up for eBilling - Woolwich Township to prevent delayed invoices and payments. Payment due dates for property taxes, water bills and parking tickets will not change. Residents are responsible for keeping payments up to date

Payments can also be made via:

• your bank
• online banking
• telephone banking
• preauthorized payment plans
• in person at the Administration Office - 24 Church Street West, Elmira
• dropped off in the drop box located at the Administration Office  (cheques only, delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to the appropriate department)
